Upon arrival, the first impression was unsettling. The exterior is unkempt, littered with cigarette butts. Inside, the lobby felt cramped and dim. For my room, cleanliness was a major concern. the bed was only marginally adequate. Additionally, the air conditioning wasn't functioning well, making for an uncomfortable stay. Don't expect much comfort here!

I was kinda surprised by the location, many places to eat nearby though the food options were underwhelming. The front desk staff was friendly enough when we checked in, that was nice, but it didn't make up for the rest.

It wasn't inexpensive, but I guess you can say it was acceptable for when you need a quick stay.

More accessibility features for seniors would be great.

the location of days inn & suites by wyndham was perfect for my trip, close to everything i needed. margarita at the front desk was super helpful in finding me another room and did her best to clean it, which i really appreciated. the gym was also a nice bonus.

Clean room, comfortable bed, the hotel features free parking which made it very convenient for my travel needs, and I truly enjoyed the breakfast options available, which added great value to my stay.

Everything was superb.

It was just a balanced option for a city holiday in Merrillville with real value for money. The breakfast had a good variety, but when I went at the end, everything was cleaned up already. Make sure to go early for breakfast to avoid missing out.
